Franchise and prototype retail packages come with a fixed opening date and a drawing set that changes late. Both are schedule problems, and both are managed the same way: one crew, and a change-order process that doesn't stop the work.
Why a franchise build is a different job
A prototype package is not designed for your site. The drawings arrive substantially complete, the changes arrive later, and the opening date was set before anyone broke ground.
What a GC needs from the framer on that job is not the lowest number. It is a subcontractor who prices the scope as drawn, flags the conflicts early, prices the change without stopping, and does not use the revision as a reason the date moved.
