The job

Ten months on one site through a full New Brunswick winter, with the concrete cores setting the pace for every trade behind them.

01 — What was asked for
Gorham Real Estate needed the structural concrete on a 160,000 square foot apartment complex in southside Fredericton — footings and walls, and the cast-in-place stair and shaft cores that the rest of the building hangs off.
02 — What we did
The crew ran from August 2025 to May 2026. Footings were formed and tied on grade, walls poured in braced formwork, and the stair flights cast in place inside the finished cores rather than set as precast.
